We co-sponsored and attended Circle Brewery’s 5th Annual .5K back in October, and it was an absolute blast! A 0.5K is only 1,640 feet, so it’s not exactly an endurance race. The micro marathon takes place at the brewery, in their oversized parking lot. All runners are divided into heats, and each runner is given 2 pints of beer with a fill line to hold while running. Any runner who spills below the line during their run is disqualified! Prizes were awarded to the winners of each heat, and our very own Austin a.k.a. Noodle won a ribbon! The event also benefited our long time partners, American Heart Association, and raised awareness about heart health. We supplied the Step & Repeat Backdrop and Finish Line Banner for the event. It was an awesome time, and we can’t wait to do it again next October! Check out the pictures below… All photography by Dani Parsons
We have a variety of shape options available for these large flags, most of which stand around 10 feet high. Choose between ground stakes for outdoor applications, or a weighted stand for display on pavement or indoors. Perfect for openings, marking entrances, and creating a festive atmosphere just about anywhere! Contact us for pricing and details.
Behold, our beautiful sponsor banner for our friends at Davis Elementary! We chose vinyl mesh for this project because it will be displayed on a fence by their sports field. The mesh material allows wind to blow through while still appearing opaque from afar, so the banner will get whipped around a lot less and will be easier to read and less likely to rip. Mesh banners can be optimized for even more windy conditions (like high up across roadways, etc) by adding semi circular wind slits. Got an outdoor area you think might benefit from a wind friendly banner? Drop us a line!
Check out Austin, one of our newest designers, and the banners he created for The Law Offices of Sandoval & James! We are really proud of his work, and we think Sandoval & James will be looking super spiffy at their next event. Read more about them and the work they do here. If your company has some events coming up, or you’d just like to get the word out to passersby, contact us about a custom banner for your business!

You all know Sarah the customer service rep (and her parrot), but today we’d like to introduce Austin! Austin is a talented designer and bindery master who just moved here from New Mexico. Here we see the two of them working it in a freshly trimmed custom photo frame. These are such a great addition to any party, and surprisingly inexpensive! How to Photograph your Event and Maintain the Guest Experience
Capturing your live event is essential in documenting your companies efforts in designing and producing the event, not only to showcase your business, but to inspire your staff and thank your clients as well.
But capturing your event with photography or video should not come at the expense of the guest experience, after all, the live event itself is for their enjoyment.
You may have witnessed at many events, photographers/videographers standing in the sight lines of guests for the duration of the event, or placing tripods and camera mounts in guest traffic areas, forcing the guest to move around them.
First and foremost, the performance or invited speaker is for the enjoyment of your guests, and yes, capturing spectacular images of a possible once in a lifetime engagement is important and desired, but that can be accomplished with a little bit of pre-planning.
Always communicate the specifics of your event. Whether you have a single performance, multiple production numbers, speakers, or atmosphere talent. Ask your photographer or videographer not to linger in one area for any length of time. Ask them to refrain from standing in front of seated guests and if a choice needs to be made between the guest having a great experience or “getting the shot”- well, the guest is whom the event was created.
When you communicate the specifics of your live event, the professionals you partner with can work with your concerns and objectives, and still deliver outstanding and spectacular imagery and video while maintaining a positive experience for your invited guests.
